We developed the task together in order to be able to transfer the sheer wealth of content, technical data, product variants, models and corresponding processing instructions, guidelines, notices and standards into a multilingual print production. A particular challenge was to put together a challenge-that is, all printing units and their language mutations were produced in a joint printing process. Thus, all print documents had to be free of error within a few days and released for printing. At least 60 different brochures between 20 and 80 pages (a total of ~ 3000 pages) do not have an easy task. The set of all print documents was implemented within 8 days with the help of a web-based CMS application that allowed a central content collection, image database, and remediation runs with versioned release system. In addition, translation data were also produced and also subjected to their correction processes. The customer-specific web platform "Content-Pipeline" was developed by us in order to let all these data flow automatically into Adobe InDesign ® IDML sample layouts according to the new CICD of Tiroler tubes GmbH. In addition to the fast implementation, great savings were achieved in the area of design, sentence work, corrections, translation and finally in print. Due to the constantly up-to-date and transparent content situation down to the smallest detail, we made an error-free print production possible in spite of a huge amount of text and data.
